Sebastian Meyen

S&S Media

Sebastian is Chief Content Officer at S&S Media. He has actively been involved with the IT industry for more than 10 years. As a journalist he is constantly in touch with thought leaders in software development and architecture. He is editor in chief of the German speaking Java Magazin and program chair of the JAX conferences since 2001. Prior to joining S&S Media, he studied philosophy and anthropology in Frankfurt, Germany.

Independent Consultant

Jutta, a partner of IT communication, is an independent consultant and trainer from Braunschweig, Germany. Her know-how in agile processes is based on over ten years experience in developing object-oriented applications. She has helped many teams and organizations all over the world to make the transition to an agile approach. She has a unique experience in applying agile processes within medium-sized to large distributed mission-critical projects. This is also the topic of her already published book ‘Agile Software Development in the Large’, and of one she’s currently writing on ‘Distributed Agile Software Development’.

 

Mike Francis

Mike is the Sales and Marketing Director of Paremus. As co-founder and chairman of the OSGi Users’ Forum UK Mike is active in promoting the OSGi Alliance and OSGi technology to end users and vendors across the UK. Mike is involved with the OSGi Alliance Marketing Committee and was a member of the team responsible for the successful launch of OSGi DevCon in Europe in June 2009.

 

Michael Johann

He is a consultant and trainer for JRuby on Rails and a regular speaker at conferences around the globe. Before switching to Ruby on Rails he become a reknown JEE expert and editor-in-chief of JavaSpektrum magazine.

 

Dierk König

Dierk is a senior software developer, consultant, and coach. He works for Canoo Engineering AG, Basel, where he manages the  open-source project Canoo WebTest. He is a committer to the Groovy and Grails projects and writes and speaks about Extreme Programming, automated testing, and Rich Internet Applications. Peter Kriens

Peter Kriens is the OSGi Director of Technology and CEO of aQute. He has worked as consultant for a large number of international companies introducing OO techniques. In 1994 he moved to Sweden to work for Ericsson, where he worked on a number of commercial and research projects. In 2001, he was hired part-time by the OSGi to act as its technical director, in which capacity he was the editor of the specifications. He currently also acts as the OSGi Evangelist.

 

Christer Larsson

Christer Larsson has over 15 years of experience in business development and advanced systems design for high-tech companies, with experience from the automotive, airline and telecom industries working for such companies as Volvo IT, Carmen Systems and Ericsson. Christer has been involved in the development of OSGi technology since 1998, taking part in the design of Ericsson's e-box concept which influenced the first releases of the OSGi specification to a large degree. He is currently the CEO of Makewave (formerly Gatespace Telematics) and the VP EMEA of the OSGi Alliance. Christer is also deeply involved in the open source project Knopflerfish. Stefan Tilkov

Stefan Tilkov is co-founder and principal consultant at innoQ, a technology consulting company with offices in Germany and Switzerland. He has been involved in the design of large-scale, distributed systems for more than a decade, using a variety of technologies and tools ranging from C++ and CORBA over J2EE/Java EE and Web Services to REST and Ruby on Rails. Stefan is lead SOA editor of InfoQ, author of numerous articles and a frequent speaker at conferences around the world.
