Special Days
Agile Day

Agile methods have entered the mainstream. Nowadays, many projects worldwide use Scrum, XP or Kanban, but agile methods don’t create success automatically. The Agile Day offers insights into what it takes to become agile, and will share real-life stories and experiences of working with agile methods. The Agile Day covers a wide range of topics, from strategies for introducing agile methods and overcoming organisational inertia, to tips on managing agile requirements and coaching teams.
Android Day
The mobile market is constantly growing, and it is becoming more and more essential for every form of enterprise computing. Android is a constant presence in market surveys from worldwide analyst companies, and for the first time, JAX London will feature a track dedicated to this operating system. Come and discover for yourself, why the Android OS is taking the Java community by storm!
Architecture Day
The world of software tends to become more and more integrated – end-to-end processes that cross corporate and technological boundaries as well as the universal availability of data and information present organisations with huge challenges. In this environment, software architects assume a special role in project development: they must have all the qualities of decathletes who have to handle code, design, communication and management. The Architecture Track of JAX London offers architects first-class information and optimum know-how from experienced and well-known software architects.
Big Data & Cloud Day
Cloud computing is moving from much-hyped concept, to concrete products and real-life usage scenarios. However, there's still plenty of questions surrounding cloud computing, and we set out to address these in our Cloud Day. How do I weigh up the opportunities and risks? What public cloud services are available and how they do they differ (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS)?
How do I develop for, and in, the Cloud? What are cloud architectures and how are they deployed? All this and more will be answered at JAX.
