John was the founder of C24, sold, bought back and sold again this week to Gresham Computing. John is now founder of a spin-off called LJP Tech and working on a new Payments and Disbursements company that will change the world of C2B payments.
John’s background is Enterprise architecture, especially when it comes to architecture modernisation, performance and scalability. An expert in blockchain but just as comfortable coding binary Java in lambdas or rebuilding a Linux kernel.
John has been global chief architect at JP Morgan, BNP Paribas and was the original architect behind Visa’s V.me (now Visa Checkout). John has co-authored several Java books and is a frequent speaker at technical and banking conferences around the world.
He is married to a French wife and has 3 boys (13, 15 & 18) who all love travelling (as long as there’s internet).
